What is it?

Have you ever fancied being strapped securely to the top wing of an authentic vintage Boeing Stearman biplane? Then our wing walking experience is perfect for you! Yeovil Hospital Charity are delighted to be working with the only Civil Aviation Authority approved to offer a Wing Walking Experience to the general public and for fundraising.

Who can do it?

This event is open to everyone between 18—75 years old. If between 66 and 75, a medical consent form is required from your GP. Please note, there is a weight restriction in place of 12stone 2lbs, with the chance of an increase to 12stone 10lbs from April.

When is it?

Saturday 29th July 2017

Where is it?

The wing walking experience will be based at Compton Abbas Airfield, Ashmore, near Salisbury, Wiltshire SP5 5AP starting from 10am.

How much does it cost?

Registration is £79 until 1st March, then it is £99 and a minimum of £599 in sponsorship.

  • Medical information

    You must be in a suitable physical condition to wing walk, so please provide your medical details here. We may forward your details to the airfield for advice. All information will be treated as strictly confidential. Your registration fee payment will only be processed once this has been approved.   • You must be no taller than 6ft (182cm)
  • You must be under 12 stone 2lb - PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL BE WEIGHED ON THE DAY OF THE WING WALK
    If you are pregnant you will be unable to take part
