The sponsored swim is taking place:
on: Saturday 15th July
at: Sherborne Sports Centre (based at the Boys School in Sherborne)
from: 12:00pm – 2:00pm
How does it work?
Participants of the sponsored swim will swim for as much or as little as they wish, setting their own target on how many lengths or the amount of time they will be continuously swimming. There will be dedicated counters, keeping track of the number of lengths swam by individuals in specific lanes.
How much is it?
Registration is free, however we ask you to raise at least £20 in minimum sponsor money. You can choose to support a specific ward or department, or the hospital in general.
Who can do it?
It is open to everyone who is able to swim a minimum of 25 metres, (2 lengths of the pool). You can swim with a woggle or float, but you need to be able to make 2 lengths of the pool without support from an adult or having to stop half way.
Children under 16 can participate, but must be accompanied by an adult. The accompanying adult does not have to swim if the child is a competent swimmer.
How do I register?
All you need to do is complete the form below. If you are registering multiple people, please ensure you complete their details and ensure they have read the terms and conditions.
Once your registration form has been received by the fundraising office, you will receive a confirmation email and pack of information containing a sponsor form.
